TRIP OFF

COMMENTS: Commencement of process through almost invisible gradual accumulation until a  “straw point” is reached. The process which sets off change is “eyebrowing.” This activates a battle of beliefs between preceding premises and change anxiety expectations.

SYMPTOMS:

Change anxiety with a sense of loss

Disgust

Resentment

Fear Self love

Possibility of self-checkmate with annihilation-anxiety strategies resulting in more intense eyebrowing later.

AIDS: Try to create conditions for person to see that the cost of old behavior exceeds that of change.

RESISTANCE

COMMENTS: Person goes out of synch with surrounding systems and significant others.

SYMPTOMS:

• More change-anxiety and sense of loss.

• CRAB-POT EFFECT 1 - People seeing their interpersonal automatic pilot partner changing
rhythms and patterns and seek to reinstate bad old ways.

• CRAB-POT EFFECT 2- Self-crab-potting happens when change anxiety mounts and once new patterns commence there appears self distrust, fear of falling into old patterns.

Regression freakout involves panic with a rushing back into old ways for a while.

CRAB-POT EFFECT 3 - The anticipation at the unconscious level of the activation of implants.
A. A number of behaviors designed to punish or prevent a breakout ranging from. mild discomfort induction to suicidal are evident.

B. Reactions to setting off implant:

Precipitation of events and experiences which say to individual, “See what it gets you. Chains of negative events, i.e. insect invasions and behavior that results in change inhibiting experiences.

• Resignation

• Felt deservingness of negative events

• Pattern Paranoia - self distrust, i.e. “I knew I shouldn’t have done that.”

• CRAB-POT EFFECT 4 - Resonation - reverberation change on the part of one’s significant others. Resulting in self-crab-potting and crab-potting significant others.

AIDS:

Tough it through.

Hypervigilance of your own and environment’s potential..

FALLING APART

COMMENTS: Begins with something going wrong. Sooner or later person falls apart in a mourning xylophone reaction.

SYMPTOMS:

Mourning xylophone process

A. Denying change

B. Angry at its occurrence

C. Attempted compromise efforts

D. Grieving over lost lifestyle

E. Acceptance of new reality

• Loss of sureness of who you are.

• Disillusionment and despairing disgust at previous life way

• Discombobulation of future plans and goals

AIDS:

• Defer making any evaluations and decisions during the process Collect ideas. Brainstorm.

Put distance between self and situation, associated stimuli.

• Value being original and different from past strategies.

• Enjoy freedom from auto pilot restraints.

Find a supportive enjoyment seeking and self-sufficient group who will be there for you.

TRAJECTORY

COMMENTS: Trajectory period is a pragmatic holding pattern process to prevent commitments which would possibly tie self down to yesterday or prematurely cast in cement resolutions that won’t make sense later.

SYMPTOMS:

• Internal processing at unconscious level.

• Grappling with things like guilt over anger at the source of change, grief over lost

opportunities, embarrassment and dismay at the disruption of functioning.

• Contentless crying

• “Change Funk” emotional emancipation exhaustion, an immobilization syndrome. Marked by behavioral inefficiency, stuporousness and torporousness. Sit and stare a lot, distance from everything and potter’s wheel and rise only to the challenge of pragm.atics.

• Isolation, shutting down, and insulate as processing on back burner occurs.

AIDS:

Try to find regular time and place to be alone.

• Pull out of normal environment. Keep journal of experiences.

Seek to find out what you really want.

• Do things you wouldn’t normally do within prudence.

• Allow unconscious to unfold.

MOTIVATION: Comes in a big burst at the end of the trajectory period. Time to stop getting ready and get going. Try to identify with final process.

TRAJECTORY CHECK POINTS:

• Examine what undermines your resolve.

• What casts self-doubt.

• Check inner crab-pots and catastrophic expectations.

• Watch out for rebound pseudo-starts to escape falling apart and for trajectory.

• Check to see if old patterns are replaying.

WAY SMOOTHING

COMMENTS: Transition handling process

AIDS:

• Take time to process and not do business as usual.

• Arrange for a temporary structure to get by externally as internals take place.

• Create rites of passage to confirm change.

• Give full opportunity to intuition. Avoid logical and strategic interventions which will result in aborting the subtle rundown process and causes “fall apart” mourning, backed off reorganizing. Result is “What do I do now” disorientation.

• Use velvet pitchfork.

• Recognize why self is uncomfortable by understanding process. Don’t victim or over own negative feelings.

• Reinforce self for awareness rather than blame. Will lead to awareness of intended actions before the fact of “self editing.”

• Use positive anchors, reminders and reinforcers such as affirmations, relevant reading and self-care.

• Meditate.

• Choose commitments wisely. Don’t Overcommit.

• Don’t try to force change.

PAYOFF

COMMENTS: Having redesigned yourself, the next step is discovering what the play-outs of the new design are.

SYMPTOMS:

• Feeling adrift

• Not feeling quite sure how to do things, what you want or where to go

• Mini-depressions and minor upheavals

• Notable increase of self-commitment and self-respect

• Prioritizing

• Returning to pick up on left-off possibilities

• Intense irritation and indignation for tastes of the past

• Thriving attitude for those things and people that caused pain in the past

• Self-sufficient, self-validating and self-loving
