* In October I seriously hurt my back when a mobile home I was working under slipped off the blocking support and came down on me, the steel I beam that runs the length of the MH hit me in the side of the head and my shoulder and the outside wall came down across my ribs running the length of my spine.
After rolling out from under the MH I felt the side of my head and found a very large bump about the size of an egg.
I immediately did some emergency EFT taping for the head and rib injury’s and forgot about the shoulder injury. Within minutes the swelling of the lump decreased about 90%!
About two hours later I asked a friend to look at my back expecting major bruising but was told there were only minor scratches!
Thinking I had somehow taken care of the situation I went back to working on the MH without any more EFT taping (I had a mild concussion which I did not know of and if I had been aware of how serious the injury was I would have continued the taping routine); the next day though my back let me know just what bad shape I was really in by my not being able to even stand up.
I finally got myself to the hospital and after many X-rays and an MRI was told that there were no apparent broken ribs and no bleeding or swelling of the brain, but that my spine was definitely in bad shape.
The doctor was surprised at the lack of bruising and concluded that the EFT taping had helped.
After coming home from the hospital I noticed while in the shower how badly bruised my shoulder was from the injury and remembered that was the one area I did not tap for!
I am convinced that my injury’s would have been worse and that the recovery time would have been much longer if I did not have this great tool at my disposal
